Choose C10 if short walks to the lake, watersports and a livelier setting matter most. Choose C12 if you prefer a quieter, more enclosed campsite in the village centre and are comfortable being about 400 metres from the lake. Both campsites belong to the same family-run business; reception and check-in for both are on C10.

C10: directly by the lake and close to the activity

C10 sits directly on Dümmer See. Lake access, the beach, surf launch area, boat harbor and other leisure options are nearby. That is convenient when you do not want to carry boards, boating equipment or beach bags far, or when your day should begin spontaneously by the water.

The location also has a deliberately livelier side. Day visitors use paths by the lake, and there can be more movement around the beach and activities in high season. Families looking for an active holiday with short distances often see that as a benefit; guests who are very sensitive to noise should include it in their decision.

Who C10 suits particularly well

  • Watersports guests and visitors interested in the private harbor.
  • Families who want the beach, public adventure playground and activities close together.
  • Guests who prefer reception and check-in on their own campsite.
  • Travellers who value a lively holiday rhythm over maximum quiet.

C12: quieter and more enclosed

C12 is in the centre of Hüde, about 400 metres from the lake. It has a calmer, more enclosed character. A small private playground is inside the campsite, which can suit families who prefer less through-traffic in their immediate camping environment.

C12 offers comfort and standard pitches. The motorhome service station for grey water, black water and fresh water is located before the entrance. A short walk to the water is part of any beach or lake day.

Who C12 suits particularly well

  • Couples and families looking for a quieter base.
  • Guests who want a standard pitch.
  • Families who value a small private playground inside the campsite.
  • Travellers happy to walk or cycle the short distance to the lake.

How families can make the decision

Think not only about where you will sleep, but what a typical holiday day should look like. If children want to reach the water or playground quickly and normal holiday activity does not bother you, C10 is often the easier base. If quiet at the pitch matters more and a short walk to the lake feels natural, C12 may be the better fit.

Next, open the C10 and C12 mapsto check routes and areas in detail. The full campsite overview also shows pitch types and prices. If your family has specific needs, Reception can advise based on current availability.

Check-in is organised in the same place for both sites

Whichever campsite you choose, your first stop is reception on C10 at Zum Fischerhafen 15, 49448 Hüde. Read the arrival and check-in guidebefore travelling. Your booking confirmation and current reception instructions remain authoritative.
